To create a transfer from the Ria app or website, first log into your account.
On the home screen, select Send money. From there, you’ll be able to select the Destination country and choose from several Payment methods such as cash, credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. For the Delivery method, select Cash. Follow the remaining on-screen prompts to add the recipient info and the pickup location.
Once approved, money can be sent in minutes – depending on the destination country and payment method. It’s that easy!
Send in-Person
If you prefer face-to-face interactions, you can start a transfer at any one of our 500,000+ locations in 165+ countries.
An agent will ask you to provide provide a valid government-issued photo ID along with the recipient’s name and address. After filling out all necessary forms and completing the payment, your transfer will be sent immediately.
Whether the transfer is created in the app, online, or in-person, you will receive a receipt and a PIN (personal identification number).
Be sure to hold onto your PIN! It enables you to track your transfer. You’ll also need to share the PIN with your recipient for them to pick up the cash.
Receiving Cash
Receiving a cash transfer couldn’t be easier.
Once you are provided the PIN, head to the designated pickup location. From there, you will be asked for your government-issued ID and the PIN. After the agent verifies the info provided, you’ll receive your funds within minutes!
