The Promoter

The promoter for the Prize Draw is Ria Financial Services Limited, located at 75 Baker Street, London, W1U 6RE, United Kingdom. In these Terms and Conditions, Ria Financial Services Limited and its affiliates involved in providing the Ria money remittance/transfer service are collectively referred to as "Ria."

Eligibility

The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, registered customers of Ria at the time of entry, and who meet the "How to Enter the Prize Draw" requirements outlined in paragraph 3 below (hereinafter referred to as "Entrant"). Employees, officers, and directors of the Promoter, its affiliates, or contractors, as well as their families, are not eligible to enter or win the Prize Draw.

How to Enter the Prize Draw

Unless an Entrant indicates to the Promoter or the Promoter's agent that they do not wish to participate in the Prize Draw, an Entrant will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw each time the Entrant sends a money remittance with Ria to a designated beneficiary located in India, Nepal, or Sri Lanka ("Beneficiary") initiated by the Entrant and paid out to the Beneficiary during the Prize Draw Period. Entrants are considered to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry. Entry and participation in the Prize Draw are strictly contingent on the Entrant's compliance with these Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions that apply to the relevant Ria money remittance, which have been separately communicated to and agreed upon by the Entrant.

Prize Draw Period

The Prize Draw commences on 1st October at 00:00 a.m. and concludes on 30th November 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (times are in BST) ("Prize Draw Period").

The Prize Draw

The Diwali Prize Draw will be executed on a monthly frequency, wherein a single winner shall be designated on a weekly basis, irrespective of the destination country within the scope of the contest, encompassing Nepal, India, or Sri Lanka. The weekly drawing events are scheduled for October 27th, November 3rd, November 10th, and November 17th. The drawing process will encompass all remittances dispatched to the qualified nations throughout the promotional duration.

Prizes

The draw will offer twelve (12) prizes (4 Ria agents, 4 Ria Stores and 4 Ria Digital [web or app]), consisting of twenty four (24) Karat gold coins with an approximate retail value ("ARV") of GBP £275 per unit.

Selection of the Prize Draw Winning Entrants

After the conclusion of the Prize Draw Period and before 30th November 2023, the winners of the draw will be chosen through a random draw conducted by a computer process overseen by the Promoter. If an Entrant is selected as a winner, the Promoter reserves the right to subsequently omit or disregard that Entrant from any further prize under this Prize Draw, which may result in additional raffle drawings to select the next winning Entrant.

Notification to Winning Entrants

Winning Entrants will be notified via text message, phone call, or email within ten (10) business days of the date they were selected and informed of the address for collection of their prize, which shall be in the UK. If a winning Entrant does not respond to the Promoter within five (5) business days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winning Entrant's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described in paragraph 7 above and this paragraph 8. Before receiving a prize, winning Entrants shall be subject to verification by the Promoter and shall be responsible for presenting valid identification documentation and/or information to the Promoter's reasonable satisfaction. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold a prize if a winning Entrant does not provide such satisfactory verification documentation and/or information.

Publicity

By collecting and accepting a prize, a winning Entrant agrees:

the Promoter may notify another Entrant upon request of the winning Entrant's name and county, provided that such request is received by the Promoter within twenty (20) business days after the date of the closing date of the Prize Draw; and

the Promoter, its affiliates, and those acting pursuant to their authority may publish and use worldwide in any media, including without limitation the Promoter's websites and social media accounts, the winning Entrant's name, picture, portrait, and/or voice for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration, compensation, permission, or notification.

General Conditions

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it. The prize for a winning Entrant may not be substituted, assigned, or transferred by the winning Entrant, and no cash alternative is offered; however, the Promoter reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion if any prize (or portion of a prize) becomes unavailable. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any loss of a prize after it has been collected, and the Promoter will not replace any lost or stolen prize(s). The ARV of a prize is subject to change, and if the actual retail value of a prize is less than the ARV set out in paragraph 6 above, the Promoter shall not compensate for the difference. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and without notice to suspend or amend the Prize Draw or Terms and Conditions due to events falling out of its control (such as suspected or actual fraud). The Promoter reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual if the Promoter reasonably suspects or finds a violation of these Terms and Conditions or the terms and conditions applicable to the Ria money remittance service. The Promoter shall not bear responsibility for: any inaccurate information received from Entrants; delay in the availability of a Ria money remittance to a Beneficiary; failure by the Beneficiary to collect a money remittance within the Prize Draw Period; or suspension or cancellation of a Ria money remittance in accordance with Ria's terms and conditions and/or laws and regulations applicable to the Ria money remittance service. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of collecting or taking up.

Exclusion

Employees, officers, and directors of Ria Financial Services Limited and their respective affiliates, contractors, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Prize Draw.

Disclaimers

Ria Financial Services Limited reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Prize Draw or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Ria Financial Services Limited is not responsible for any inaccuracies in the information provided by participants, delays in the availability of transfers to beneficiaries, or any issues related to beneficiary collections, and shall not bear responsibility for any suspension or cancellation of Ria money remittances due to the terms and conditions or laws and regulations applicable to the Ria money transfer service.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes arising from or related to the Prize Draw shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.

By participating in the Diwali Prize Draw, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria specified herein.

Participation in this Prize Draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entrants are bound by these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms and conditions specific to Ria Money Transfer.
