How Ria's IBAN calculator works
Choose the country where the bank account is held.
Enter the local bank code, branch code (if your country uses one), and account number.
Click Calculate. We'll add the correct country code and run the ISO 13616 check-digit formula.
Copy your IBAN with one tap, confirm it with your recipient, and send.
Heads up: a correctly formatted IBAN means the math checks out, but it doesn't prove the account exists. Always confirm with your recipient or their bank before sending.
Where to find your IBAN
Not sure if you even need to calculate? If you already have an account in an IBAN country, your IBAN is usually easy to find:
At the top of a recent bank statement (paper or PDF).
In your online banking dashboard, usually under Account details or Receive money internationally.
In your bank's mobile app. Most show the IBAN with a one-tap copy button.
On the chip side of some debit cards, though this is less common.
Only have your bank code and account number? That's what the calculator above is for.
