You may request copies of any documents we used in our investigation.

Procedures to follow to cancel a remittance transfer:

You have the right to cancel a remittance transfer within thirty (30) minutes of payment and receive a refund of all funds you paid us, including any fees, if the following conditions are met:

  • your request allows us to identify you and your address or telephone number, and the specific transfer; and

  • the transferred funds have not been picked up by the designated recipient or deposited into that recipient's bank account.

To cancel the transaction, you must contact us by calling (800) 500-3994 within thirty (30) minutes of making the payment for the transfer.

We will refund your money within three (3) business days from the time the cancellation request is made, provided that the funds have not been picked up by the designated recipient or deposited into that recipient's bank account.

A few notes since this is regulated disclosure language:

  • This is essentially the CFPB Remittance Rule (Regulation E, Subpart B) long-form disclosure. The CFPB publishes an official English model form for this exact notice — for the live US-facing page, I'd recommend cross-checking against the CFPB model rather than relying on a translation, since regulators have specific phrasing they expect (e.g., "remittance transfer" is the statutory term, and the 180-day / 30-minute / 90-day / 3-business-day timeframes must appear exactly as written in the rule).

  • "Consumer Protection Compliance" — kept as-is since it's a department name (proper noun), and matches the existing English-language address line.

  • "Beneficiario" → "recipient" reads more naturally than "beneficiary" in US consumer-facing remittance copy, and matches CFPB terminology. "Designated recipient" is the statutory term used in the cancellation section.

  • "Retirados" → "picked up" is the standard term in US remittance disclosures for cash pickups (more natural than "withdrawn" for this context).
