Promotional Terms and Conditions (for the EEA)

These Promotional Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the “Promotional Terms”) are offered by RIA Lithuania UAB, a company incorporated in the Republic of Lithuania with registration number 305592651, having its registered office at Ukmergės g. 126, LT-08100, Vilnius, Lithuania. We operate under the name “Ria” and hold payment institution license No. 52, issued by the Bank of Lithuania on November 26, 2020. This license authorizes us to provide online money transfer services throughout the European Economic Area (EEA). These Promotional Terms apply to those services.

Together with these Promotional Terms, the Terms and Conditions for the provision of money transfer services and the use of the Ria Money Transfer mobile application or Ria Money Transfer website (“Terms and Conditions”) shall also apply.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in these Promotional Terms, the definitions set forth in the general Terms and Conditions shall also apply to these Promotional Terms.

For the purposes of these Promotional Terms:

a) The term “application” refers to the Ria Money Transfer mobile application.

b) The term “website” refers to Ria’s official online platform (www.riamoneytransfer.com).

c) The term “payment order” refers to a money transfer order (money remittance) submitted by the customer through the application or website for the purpose of sending money to a recipient.

d) The term “local currency” refers to the official currency of the country in which the customer is registered in the application and/or on the website.

e) Depending on the sending country, promotional offers may be available in the application or on the website. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify whether they have access to the application or website in their country.

We offer you the opportunity to benefit from more favorable conditions, including but not limited to reduced fees, better exchange rates, or other promotional benefits when submitting a payment order through the application or website (collectively, the “Promotions”).

These Promotions may be available free of charge, either automatically during the transaction process or by entering a promotional code provided by Ria, as described below.

The following Promotional Terms apply to each Promotion offered by Ria at its discretion, depending on market conditions and compliance with the requirements set forth below. If any of the entered codes does not activate the corresponding Promotion in the application or on the website, this means that the Promotion is not available to you.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Promotions cannot be combined with any other promotional offers, discounts, or promotional codes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel these Promotions at any time. You are solely responsible for any tax implications and compliance with applicable laws relating to these Promotional Terms.

General Statements

1. Single Use and Non-Combination. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Promotions cannot be combined with any other promotional offers, discounts, or promotional codes. Each Promotion applies exclusively to one payment order per customer.

2. Availability of the Application and Website. Promotions may apply either to the website or to the application, depending on the country in which the customer is registered with Ria for the provision of online money transfer services. It is the responsibility of each customer to verify whether they have access to the application or website in their country before attempting to use a Promotion.

3. Destination Country Restrictions. The availability of each Promotion depends on the country to which the money is being sent. Customers may verify whether a Promotion applies to them by entering the relevant code in the application or on the website; if the code is accepted, the Promotion applies; if not, the Promotion is not available for you and/or for that destination.

4. Minimum Payment Order Amount and Bonus Amounts. Certain Promotions require a minimum amount in local currency. The required minimum amounts, as well as the bonus amounts to be added to the payment order, are specified in the table entitled “Minimum Amounts by Currency and Added Amounts” in these Promotional Terms.

HELLORIA

Use code HELLORIA and benefit from zero (0) fees in your local currency for your first money transfer.

This Promotion is limited to one (1) payment order per customer and is available exclusively to new customers using the application or website. This Promotion may be combined with the “Welcome Rates” Promotion if applicable. If this Promotion is offered to you automatically during the transaction process, you may choose not to proceed with the transaction and thereby reject the benefit of this Promotion by canceling the transaction before confirming it.

This Promotion expires on January 31, 2028.

Please note that this Promotion may not apply in all countries. The availability of this Promotion depends on the country to which the money is being sent, and Ria reserves the right to exclude certain jurisdictions at its discretion without prior notice. Customers may verify the validity of the Promotion by entering the code in the application or on the website: if the application or website accepts the code, the Promotion applies; if not, the Promotion is not available for you and/or for that destination.

Standard fees and surcharges may still apply.

RIAX2

Use code RIAX2 and benefit from zero (0) money transfer fees in your local currency for your second money transfer.

This Promotion is available exclusively to existing customers who have already completed one money transfer through the application or website.

The promo code may only be used once per customer for a payment order made through the Ria Money Transfer application or website.

This Promotion expires on January 31, 2028.

Please note that this Promotion may not apply in all countries. The availability of this Promotion depends on the country to which the money is being sent, and Ria reserves the right to exclude certain jurisdictions at its discretion without prior notice. Customers may verify the validity of the Promotion by entering the code in the application or on the website: if the application or website accepts the code, the Promotion applies; if not, the Promotion is not available for you and/or for that destination.

Standard fees and surcharges may still apply.

RIABACK

Use code RIABACK and benefit from zero (0) fees in local currency for your next money transfer.

This Promotion is limited to one (1) money transfer per person and is available exclusively to existing customers who have already completed at least one money transfer through the application or website.

This Promotion expires on January 31, 2027.

Please note that this Promotion may not apply in all countries. The availability of this Promotion depends on the country to which the money is being sent, and Ria reserves the right to exclude certain jurisdictions at its discretion without prior notice. Customers may verify the validity of the Promotion by entering the code in the application or on the website: if the application or website accepts the code, the Promotion applies; if not, the Promotion is not available for you and/or for that destination.

Standard fees and surcharges may still apply.

“Welcome Rates”

This Promotion may be automatically applied during the transaction process in the application or on the website when submitting your first money transfer, allowing you to benefit from more favorable exchange rates for converting the transfer currency into the currency in which the funds will be paid out to the recipient, compared to the rates offered by Ria to other users of its application or website.

This Promotion may vary by country and will be available at Ria’s discretion depending on current market conditions. You may choose not to proceed with the transaction and thereby reject the benefit of this Promotion by canceling the transaction before confirming it.

This Promotion expires on January 31, 2028. The promotional exchange rates offered may change and may vary depending on the amount sent. Standard fees and surcharges may still apply.

PARTY26

Use code PARTY26 and receive an additional amount in your local currency, which will be added directly to the amount of your money transfer (the “Bonus”).

To receive the Bonus, the payment order must meet the minimum amount requirement in local currency. The required minimum amount and the corresponding bonus amounts added to the payment order are specified in the table of minimum amounts and added amounts by currency below.

This Promotion is available exclusively to existing customers who, on their birthday, have already completed at least one money transfer through the application or website.

The promo code may only be used once, and the Bonus applies only to one payment order per customer.

Please note that this Promotion may not apply in all countries. The availability of this Promotion depends on the country to which the money is being sent, and Ria reserves the right to exclude certain jurisdictions at its discretion without prior notice. Customers may verify the validity of the Promotion by entering the code in the application or on the website: if the application or website accepts the code, the Promotion applies; if not, the Promotion is not available for you and/or for that destination.

VIP26

Use code VIP26 and receive an additional amount in your local currency, which will be added directly to the amount of your money transfer (the “Bonus”).

To receive the Bonus, the payment order must meet the minimum amount requirement in local currency. The required minimum amount and the corresponding bonus amounts added to the payment order are specified in the table of minimum amounts and added amounts by currency below.

This Promotion is available exclusively to existing customers for whom two or more years have passed since sending their first money transfer through the application or website.

The promo code may only be used once, and the Bonus applies to one payment order per customer.

The availability of this Promotion depends on the country to which the money is being sent, and Ria reserves the right to exclude certain jurisdictions at its discretion without prior notice. Use code RIAx5x1 and receive an additional amount in your local currency, which will be added directly to the amount of your money transfer (the “Bonus”).

To receive the Bonus, the payment order must meet the minimum amount requirement in local currency. The required minimum amount and the corresponding bonus amounts added to the payment order are specified in the table of minimum amounts and added amounts by currency below.

This Promotion is available exclusively to existing customers for whom one year has passed since sending their first money transfer through the application or website.

The promo code may only be used once, and the Bonus applies to one payment order per customer.

The availability of this Promotion depends on the country to which the money is being sent, and Ria reserves the right to exclude certain jurisdictions at its discretion without prior notice. Customers may verify applicability by entering the code in the application: if the code is accepted, the Bonus applies; if not, the Promotion is not available for you and/or for that destination.
